After maturing in our cellars, de pinxi has set up the Musée des Vins d’Alsace in Colmar.
With an introductory tour, overflowing collections and interactive workshops, this is the first wine museum designed for families!
Following the success of the Musée du Chocolat, on the ground floor of the same building, de pinxi is responsible for developing the content of the Musée des Vins.
The Museum features a rich collection of objects related to vines and wine. Following the themes of culture, winemaking, trade and associated professions, de pinxi has developed a multimedia trail made up of videomappings, educational kiosks, animated frescoes and a series of interconnected digital challenges: the apprentice winemaker’s trail.
These interactive and immersive games introduce visitors to the various facets of the wine trade: from harvesting to bottling, including pressing, barrel management and all the major tasks involved in wine production.
At the end of the tour, the apprentice winemaker receives his or her credentials: they can design their own label, which they will affix to the bottles of their choice. The tour would not be complete without a tasting in the cellar… equipped with de pinxi’s exclusive identification system, the barrels dispense wine or juice, depending on the age of the visitors!
The tour ends with a look at the people and brotherhoods who keep Alsatian tradition alive, and an invitation in a digital rickshaw to discover the roads of the Alsace Wine Route.
The Alsace Wine Museum is located on Place de la Cathédrale, in the heart of Colmar.
